Circles-Joplin Check Presentation
Three local organizations presented donations to Circles-Joplin at a special check presentation ceremony at 6 pm Thursday, August 30. Circles-Joplin is a non-profit organization aimed at eliminating poverty in the community. SNC Squared, Joplin Elk’s Lodge and JOMO Adventures presented donations at the Circles game night at St. Paul’s Church, 2423 W. 26th St. SNC Squared’s dunk tank raised $600; Joplin Elk’s Lodge raised $1,000 with a charity breakfast; and JOMO Adventures raised $16,960 with its annual bicycle ride. These gifts will allow Circles-Joplin to equip those living in poverty the opportunity to escape generational poverty by providing further education, training and relationships.
