The Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Region M Solid Waste Management District, invites you to the second annual Shred-a-Palooza! This is your opportunity to safely dispose of personal and business documents, to safeguard your identity and protect yourself from fraud.

This is the second year for this event. Last year’s inaugural Shred-a-Palooza resulted in securely shredding and recycling over six tons of paper and two tons of cardboard. This year, the Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce will host the document shredding event Saturday, November 10. A mobile shredding unit from CRC Shredding (a division of Computer Recycling Center) will be on hand from 9 am to 12 pm at the Carl Junction Area Community Center at 301 N. Main.

Shred-a-Palooza is of interest to anyone needing safe, secure destruction of credit card statements, phone and utility bills, old checks, old pay stubs, investment account statements, retail invoices and statements, and more. Volunteers will be on hand to assist people with their boxes of items to be shredded. All shredded materials will be responsibly recycled.

This free service is available to all Four-State residents, businesses and their customers. For more information about Shred-a-Palooza, please contact Jennifer Shotwell, Region M Planner, at 417.649.6400, extension 302.
