The 48th Annual Joplin Christmas Parade is Tuesday, December 4, from 6-8 pm. Freeman Health System proudly continues to support and sponsor the Joplin Christmas Parade.

The Seventh Annual Alternative Christmas Fair & Chili Feed is taking place the weekend of Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at 1901 S. Pearl. This unique shopping experience gives you the opportunity to purchase gifts from “Ten Thousand Villages,” a fair-trade retailer featuring items from artisans in developing countries and “Equal Exchange” fair-trade coffee, tea, chocolate, olive oil and more.

 

To get in touch with your creative side, be sure to check out the 71st Annual Membership Show at Spiva Center for the Arts, 222 W. 3rd St., which is running until December 15. The Membership Show showcases a wide variety of styles and media from 110 regional artists. Also until December 15, Spiva’s Regional Gallery will exhibit the work of Gloria Baker Feinstein, a fine art and portrait photographer based in Kansas City.
