Junior High School Science

As she gets ready for this semester’s Project Based Learning (PBL), Seneca public schools eighth grade science teacher Natalie Hughes says, “Students will be learning the interactions of the eight body systems.

“In order to learn these, they will be focusing their time on getting ready for a health fair for 1st-6th grade students.

“The fair will consist of eight areas where elementary students can learn the body system, how to take care of it and how it interacts with other systems.”

The way Hughes sees it, students like PBL because, “They enjoy feeling like they are learning the things they want learn, instead of just being told what they should know.

“I am so happy to see students enjoy learning and researching things further, outside the classroom.”
