Perfect in Every Way
We were high school sweethearts. . .

When they married September 1, 2018, Mariah and Adley McCall celebrated the love that began when they were in high school.
“We met when Adley’s brother introduced us at a church function,” said Mariah. “We were high school sweethearts, and we’ve been together for six years.” During those six years, Mariah and Adley have built a life together.
Their wedding was held at Stella Springs in Newton County just outside Neosho. “We loved the setting, and the venue is just 15 minutes from our house, so it was very convenient. They were so warm and welcoming at Stella Springs, and that made us feel at home,” said Mariah.
The couple chose the waterfall site at Stella Springs for their wedding. The fairy tale setting was perfect for the rustic, romantic ceremony. The wooden stairs, native slab cherry benches, the exposed rocks and lush foliage were the perfect backdrop for the vines and muted-toned sunflowers the couple chose to cover the arch where the ceremony took place. Canisters of sunflowers were placed at the end of the aisles.
The best part of the wedding for Mariah was when the couple’s two-year-old son, Cope, walked down the aisle ahead of Mariah bearing the rings. He was also seen carrying a sign that said, “Dad, are you ready? Here comes our girl.”
The couple chose family and friends as their attendants. Mariah’s sister, Cheyenne Wilson, served as maid of honor. Her best friend, Madisun Branstetter, was her bridesmaid, and Crimson Everett was flower girl. The bride’s attendants wore navy blue dresses trimmed with lace and fringe.
Adley’s best man was Brendan Craig, and his groomsmen were Chance Branstetter and Cody Dickson. The groomsmen all wore jeans and burgundy shirts to continue the rustic elegant theme.
One of Mariah’s best memories of the day was when her grandfather dropped a penny in her boot for good luck. “He’s done that for all of the granddaughters,” she recalled.
For Adley, the best part of the wedding was “watching Mariah walk down the aisle” in her off-white lace dress with a long train.
Following the ceremony where their friend, Gary Rhodes, performed the ceremony, the couple entertained their guests in a reception at the barn at Stella Springs. The whitewashed walls and crystal chandeliers hung from old beams contributed to the romantic feel. Wooden tables covered with vintage lace and adorned with sunflowers completed the ambiance of rustic elegance. The couple was treated to a celebration walk as their guests lined the area and held sparklers, wishing them all the best in their marriage.
Following their honeymoon in Colorado Springs, the couple continue to build on the love they have shared and celebrated. “Adley’s qualities that I love are that he is so caring. He takes care of his family first, and he is just a good person.”
Adley said of Mariah, “There are not enough words to describe everything I love about her. She’s perfect in every way.”
