In April, all roads lead to Carl Junction, when the Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Spring City Wide Sale. The Carl Junction Chamber hosts two city wide sales each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. This year’s Spring City Wide Sale is Saturday, April 27.
Thousands of visitors come to Carl Junction for the spring city wide sale each April seeking great bargains in every neighborhood. The Carl Junction Chamber provides a free online map of registered sales. Those selling may list their sale address, along with items for sale, for free, on the Chamber’s website: www.CarlJunctionCC.com. Addresses are listed in “real time,” meaning addresses can be listed up to 24 hours prior to the sale. Shoppers can click on any sale address listed for a complete listing of what is for sale and be given directions to the sale address.
One of the perennial favorites of the annual Carl Junction Spring City Wide Sale is the Cultivator’s Garden Club plant sale, which features hundreds of perennials and annuals. All plants sold by the Cultivators are raised by the garden club members, who are on hand during the sale to lend expert garden tips. The plant sale is held at Memorial Park from 7 am to 1 pm, or as soon as all plants sell out. All proceeds benefit the Cultivators’ year-around beautification projects.
