The passion Danette Conley has for her business is obvious not only in her enthusiasm for fashion and people, but in the care she takes to make The Vogue Boutique the best customer experience for purchasing fashion and gifts.

“I opened The Vogue nine years ago, but I had had the business in mind for 25 years,” laughed Danette. “I never took the initiative to make it happen for all that time, and then in 24 hours, I decided to do it. I thought Carl Junction and the surrounding area was big enough to support carrying the lines of fashion that you would normally have to travel to bigger cities to find. And we’ve been successful in getting those lines in our store and creating a positive customer experience.”

The Vogue Boutique, at 144 S. Main Street, Carl Junction, Missouri, carries lines such as McKenzie Child, Kendra Scott, Frye, Birkenstock, Ecco and others. Many of the lines of fashion and shoes you can find at The Vogue Boutique are exclusive to the area.

In addition to great fashion, Danette focuses on customer service. “Customer service is our number one priority. I think that is the reason for our success. We make shopping an enjoyable experience.

“Retail services were changing even before the COVID-19 virus,” said Danette, “and things will continue to change. We closed on March 18 to protect our clients and our employees. But we have now reopened with temporarily reduced hours. We were unsure how things would be, but we have a wonderful clientele, and sales have been phenomenal since we reopened. We appreciate the support our customers have shown for local businesses.

“We’ve made changes to make our customers comfortable. We only allow 10 people at a time in the store, and we are currently giving out samples of the new hand sanitizer line we are carrying. Everyone who enters gets a squirt of it in their hand. We are abiding by all the state mandates, and we have installed sneeze guards at our checkout. Customers may try on clothes, which are then sanitized before we return them to the rack, and everything is wiped and sanitized between customers. Curbside pickup will remain available for those who prefer not to come into the store.”

New merchandise for summer is arriving daily at The Vogue Boutique. Danette noted that more merchandise is being add to their updated website at shopthevogueboutique.com, and you can follow The Vogue Boutique on Facebook and Instagram. You’ll find clothing in sizes XS to XL, shoes, jewelry and much more. There is no shortage of merchandise at the Vogue Boutique.

Danette reminded us she also carries “everything for you and your home. We have gifts for every occasion from baby gifts, graduations, weddings and gifts for any special occasion. We also carry a line of gourmet food, home décor and specialty paints. And as always, we offer free gift wrap. We want to make your shopping experience enjoyable and worth the trip. We are extremely grateful for the loyalty our customers have shown throughout the COVID-19 experience, and we plan to continue to bring stylish fashion at prices to fit all budgets to our customers.”
