ShowMe Carl Junction

Being able to safely dispose of some unwanted items can often prove to be difficult and costly. Being able to securely dispose of personal documents can prove to be challenging, as well. An upcoming event in Carl Junction offers a solution to the problems of safely and securely disposing of unwanted items. Best of all, it’s absolutely free! The Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Region M Solid Waste Management District to host a recycling and document-shredding event Saturday, May 4. The recycle and shred event is open to all Four-State residents and businesses, and is sponsored by Brad McIntyre, Edward Jones.

Data destruction items accepted include: computers, office machines, cell phones and other electronic items. You may safely dispose of batteries, fluorescent bulbs, television sets and even washers, dryers, microwaves, stoves, heaters and water tanks. Residents and businesses from the Four-State Area may also responsibly recycle keyboards, VCR players, DVD players, gaming systems, land line phones and more. Cardboard is accepted. Secure document shredding is done on site for your personal or business records. There is no limit on items accepted.
